Mail Club Policies

1) What the Mail Club Is

The Mail Club is a monthly subscription that delivers curated happy mail (art print and/or goodies depending on your tier) sent through USPS as stamped mail.

2) Subscription Billing & Auto-Renewal

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize a recurring monthly charge to your payment method at the subscription price shown at checkout, plus any applicable tax.

  • Automatic renewal: Your subscription renews monthly until you cancel.

  • When you’re charged (no trial): You are charged on the day you subscribe, and then monthly on the same date.

  • When you’re charged (with a 30-day free trial): You are not charged at sign-up. Your first paid charge occurs when the 30-day trial ends. Because the trial is 30 days (not a calendar month), this first charge date may fall one day earlier than the calendar date you originally signed up (depending on the month). After that, you’ll be charged monthly on the same day-of-month as your first paid charge.

  • Price changes: If pricing ever changes, we’ll notify you before any new price takes effect.

3) Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals.

 

  • How to cancel: Cancel through your account on our site at www.mikaylamichelsonart.com (login in the top right corner) or email us at mikaylamichelsonart@gmail.com.

  • Free trial cancellation: To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the free trial ends.

  • Cancellation timing: Cancellation stops future charges. It does not retroactively refund charges that have already processed.

4) Monthly Cutoff + Shipping Schedule

  • Sign-ups close: the 25th of each month (Pacific Time).

  • When your mail ships: within 5–7 business days after sign-ups close on the 25th.

  • Delivery time: USPS delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. USPS says general timeline is 3-5 business days. (Holidays and weather can add delays.)

 

5) Where We Ship

We currently mail within the United States only.

6) Address Changes

You are responsible for providing an accurate mailing address. My Account >

 

  • Update deadline: Address changes must be made before the 25th to apply to that month’s shipment. You can change your address by logging in to your account, going to "my account", and updating your address under personal info.  

  • If mail is returned to us due to an incorrect/undeliverable address, we can resend it after you confirm an updated address. Additional postage may apply.

7) Stamped Mail & No Tracking

Mail Club shipments are sent as stamped mail and typically do not include tracking. Because of that, we can’t see USPS scans or confirm delivery status.

8) Lost or Missing Mail (Replacement Policy)

If your mail hasn’t arrived, please contact mikaylamichelsonart@gmail.com.

 

  • When to reach out: If your mail hasn’t arrived 14 days after the ship date, contact us and we’ll help troubleshoot.

  • Our standard fix: We will typically replace a missing shipment once it appears likely lost.

  • Repeat claims: If missing-mail reports become frequent for the same customer/address, we may require an upgraded shipping method (when available), an alternative delivery address, or limit replacements at our discretion.

9) Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, email mikaylamichelsonart@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and we’ll make it right (replacement or refund at our discretion).

10) Returns & Refunds

Because Mail Club items are small-batch and sent on a monthly cycle:

 

  • No returns on subscription shipments.

  • Refunds are generally not offered once a month’s shipment has been processed or mailed, except in cases of defects/damage as described above.

11) Product & Color Variations

  • Printed colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and printing differences.

  • Handmade items may have small natural variations—part of the charm.

12) Copyright & Personal Use

All artwork and written content remain the intellectual property of Mikayla Michelson Art unless otherwise stated.

  • Mail Club items are for personal use only.

  • Reproduction, redistribution, or resale of the artwork/content is not permitted without written permission.

13) Tutorials/Recipes/Studio Notes Disclaimer

Any tutorials, tips, or recipes shared are for general informational purposes only. Please use your own judgment, especially regarding allergies, dietary needs, tools, and safety.

14) Force Majeure (Stuff Outside Our Control)

We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (including USPS disruptions, weather, natural disasters, or other major interruptions).

15) Free Trial Offer (First 150 Subscribers)

We’re offering a 30-day free trial to the first 150 new subscribers (while available).

  • Length: 30 days from the time you sign up.

  • Who qualifies: New subscribers only (limit 1 free trial per customer/household, at our discretion).

  • After the trial: If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged.

  • Availability: Once 150 free trials have been claimed, the subscription will start as paid immediately (no trial).

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes! I do accept custom orders depending on my current availability and the type of request. If you’re interested in a custom piece—such as a personalized illustration, invitation design, or another idea—feel free to reach out with the details. I’ll let you know pricing, timeline, and whether I’m able to take it on at that time.

Custom orders may take longer to create and ship than regular items.

 

When will my order ship?

All non-custom orders will ship within 3 business days, whether they’re sent from my studio or fulfilled through my printing partner.

​Bulk or large-quantity orders may require additional processing and shipping time.

Can you correct an error made in my address after placing the order?

Yes — if you notice a mistake in your shipping address, please contact me as soon as possible so I can update it before your order ships.

After an order is placed, the shipping address is the only detail I’m able to change.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.

Will I get a tracking number?

Once your order has shipped you will receive a confirmation email that will include a tracking number.

Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?

No, currently, I am only offering orders by shipment.

Do you offer rush shipping?

Please contact me if you require rush shipping and I will do my best to ship as fast as I can and add rush shipping. An additional fee will be added for rush shipping. Typically, orders will be shipped within 3 business days of the order and can be expected to arrive 5-10 business days following the shipment.

How will my print be shipped?

Packaging by size:

  • Prints 9×12” and smaller are shipped flat in a rigid mailer. They’re placed inside a clear protective sleeve with a backing board, and further secured between reused cardboard for extra protection.

  • Prints larger than 9×12” will be rolled, placed in a clear or poly bag, and shipped in a sturdy mailing tube.

 

Multiple-print orders:
Prints are separated with acid-free tissue paper and packaged together in the same protective sleeve.

 

Printer-direct shipments:
If your order ships directly from my printing partner, it will arrive safely packed—usually flat with cardboard backing and a clear sleeve. Occasionally, they ship in a tube; if so, the print may arrive gently rolled but will flatten on its own.

To flatten it faster, keep the print inside its plastic sleeve and place a heavy, flat item (like a large book) on top until it lays flat again.

 

Damaged in transit?
If your print arrives damaged, please contact me. I’ll do my best to make it right.

Can I add something to my order?

If you would like to add something to your order please contact me as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary extra shipments. If the order has already been shipped you will need to place another order. 

Can I make a return?

At this time, I do not accept returns. In special circumstances, I may offer store credit, but this is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and I reserve the right to decline a refund or credit.​

What if my order is damaged or has not been delivered in a reasonable time?

In the instance that your order is damaged during shipping or does not arrive, please contact me and we can discuss the options.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, I am unable to ship internationally, but hope to in the future.

How can I buy an original?

Please contact me if you have interest in purchasing an original and I will be more than happy to send a list of what I have available.
